Hotel Jurmala was built in the beginning of the 1970’s.as the tourist hotel, greeting the guests visiting from – Finland, Georgia, Bulgaria etc. Hotel had 160 rooms with bathroom facilities,  the most famous night club cabaret and restaurant at that time in Latvia. Here was also hairdresser salon, cafeteria and casino! Hotel ended operation in the end on 80´s, and stayed empty for more than 12 years.

The property was bought by Estonian real-estate investment company and the reconstruction started in  autumn 2004 and we greeted first guests on 27.05.2005!

Since complete reconstruction in 2005 Hotel Jurmala SPA complies with highest quality standards of international 4* hotels, star rating received november 2006. Hotel facilities provide wide range of recreational oppurtunities including spa and beauty treatments, gym services, saunas and pools. The hotel has been decorated using only natural materials – wood and stone - to create a restful and relaxing atmosphere.

Orgin of Hotel Jūrmala Spa graphic sign is from Alhambra Royal Baths wall mosaica. Sign reflects motives of the wave and water - key words in the Spa culture. Modular and structular construction of the sign reflects open and developing system that is full of health and life spirit.
